en I've said it all year long that our district, the past two years, is definitely one of if not the hardest to play in. Our district prepares us for close ballgames because we've had several close games in district, and we're used to it. That's a compliment to our district as far as how tough it is.

en Yet another week in a 'bulldog pen' for us. What a charming non-district schedule we have, huh. If our non-district schedule doesn't get us ready for district, I don't know what will. It's as tough as you can get.

en That is difficult. The combination of having to finish the district schedule two weeks before the tournament and not wanting to play district games before Christmas makes us load up on our schedule.

en We're looking forward to the second half of our district schedule. We have got to be the best 2-5 team in any district. A couple of key hits and we could very well be 6-1 in the district right now.

en First we want to win our district. We want to go undefeated in district. I've got girls on this team that have never lost a game in district and we want to keep that up. Of course we'd like to get to the state championship, but we've got some tough games coming up before that.

en The school district is pleased that a national publication recognizes that you can be an excellent school district without spending more than another school district, ... We have one of the lower per pupil costs in Delaware County. Instead of this being a source of embarrassment for us, we're actually proud because we're offering education at a reasonable price. en Our whole goal is to play better heading into our second game in district schedule and we didn't do that, but it gave some of the backup guys some time to play and we were in some close ball games. You can only practice and simulate that a few times. There's no substitute for that. Hopefully this can be something we can learn from as we start district.

en They will create great enthusiasm and changes in the district. Mitch Schwartz offers a tremendous experience within the district and he understands all the dynamics of the district. Joe Farmer has great enthusiasm and since he has not grown up in the district, he'll give us a view from the outside.

He understands all the dynamics of the district. He brings continued stability and strength. Joe Farmer has great enthusiasm. Since he has not grown up in the district, he'll give us a view from the outside.

en This district sits across the same media market. He's in Houston again … [and] the district also encompasses about 20 percent of the old district he used to serve in before the Texas redistricting.

en This means a lot. We've been in (District 12-AAA) with Franklin, Centennial and Brentwood for the last five years. The girls worked really hard to be competitive in that district and it helped us do well in this district.
