en We're starting a freshman and four sophomores, and we can't make three big errors in one inning against a team as explosive as Gloucester.

en We had a freshman at second. Every year I've had a freshman start and we're starting five sophomores. It doesn't take long for them to get into the action. Once they realize they belong the nerves are gone.

en Defense let us down again. They've been like that all year. We've been averaging five errors a game, and the five errors hurt us. A lot of my players were sophomores. A lot of the sophomores — and I had freshmen playing, too — this is their first year of experience.

en We're competing the whole game. We're not having multiple errors in a row. We're spreading them out. We're not having that one horrible inning like we had a lot last year. We're still making some silly errors that we don't need to make. But we're getting better, no doubt about that.

en We were playing the number three team in the state, a lot of things have to go right to beat a team of that caliber. They came out and scored runs. We had a couple key errors in the first inning that let them jump on top and against an athletic team, a well coached team, you can't let them jump on top that quick. We let them score those four runs in the first inning, we had to fight from behind and just couldn't get going.

en He was one of those freshman who showed some promise last year. We're not going to win any meets, but it's a victory for us when one of those sophomores win. We need those sophomores to be in a position to medal.

en The biggest thing was getting kids to come out for the team., ... Only two freshman and two sophomores showed up for the team. Trying to recover from that was a bit of problem.

en But when they're freshman and sophomores, George Mason can beat that team.

en You win 17 games last year with a group of sophomores and we felt like we have a chance to be pretty good this year. We have a freshman and a sophomore now starting with three juniors.

en We just couldn't get out of the inning. They're a very explosive team. She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges.

en We made a couple of errors in the first inning that kind of opened up the gates for them. If we make those plays they probably only score one run. Anytime you let a team like Olympia get a lead like that, it's tough to come back.

en We scored six runs in the first inning. We had three hits and one walk in that inning and Stowe had seven errors. And then after the first inning it was a 3-3 ball game.

en I'm not afraid to tell anyone I'm very demanding. I'll accept physical errors, but mental errors are what I'm trying to eliminate. When you're dealing with freshmen and sophomores, there's a big step.

en It was unfortunate we made a couple mistakes in the third inning. Errors happen in a game, it was just too bad the errors we made were all in the same inning.
