It was a big disappointment, but it gave me just a little taste of what it would be like to win my home Open, and every season it's one of the events I underline on my calendar and prepare for accordingly.

As soon as the season starts, I start putting those commitments down on the calendar. Every letter, note and paper that comes home from school is put down on the calendar.

I put more pressure on myself than anyone else ever could, but I probably want this one a little bit more just because it is closer to home. But, because it's getting towards the end of the season and I'm hoping to have a few good races to close out the season, I really want to do well this weekend. I feel like I'm learning more, that I am better prepared for the events as we go along. I really am looking at these next few events as laying the ground work for next season.

I don't think this season is a disappointment. But of course we're disappointed that we didn't make the NCAA Tournament. But this season isn't a disappointment at all, especially from where we've had to battle through (adversity) the whole season and where we've come back from last year.

I wanted to resolve the matter quietly and never felt like it had to become an ugly situation. This was not a hard decision because of the belief I have in the leadership of this team and my teammates, and that I have in myself. I have already begun to prepare for the 2006 season and am anxious to get the bad taste that the season left me with.

The entry draft is one of the most important events on our calendar, as it marks the culmination of one season and casts all eyes toward the bright future that awaits.

It was such a long summer. There was a bitter taste in our mouths after last season but it also gave us more to play for.

They'll want to bounce back after the disappointment. And it was a big disappointment because they had to play with 10 men in the home game.

Many of us have tried to use the tools available to us to stay organized, but somehow we still manage to be human and miss important activities, events, and meetings. Computer calendar systems work fine, if you are at your computer, but if you are on the go and miss seeing your computer calendar that day you may get so busy that you forget something just because you are human and space out.

At the same time, there were difficult events, tragedies, ... But I would like to underline once again that with all these problems, all these tragedies, the main thing is that the navy is undergoing a revival.

This was a tough loss, but made us realize what we really need to work on. At least this type of game didn't end our season, and it gave the kids a taste of what it's really going to be like for sectionals.

I think we gave him the biggest run for his money he's had. If you told me this morning I'd get beat by a neck, I'd have been ecstatic. (But) turning for home it's a big disappointment to get beat.

It's done. That was our big goal at the beginning of the season, saying it would be a big disappointment if we didn't make it. To have it go like this, it's a big disappointment.

It's a disappointment. We started the season to get to the World Series and win it. If you don't do that, it's a disappointment. That's not how we want this thing to end.
