en I thought our effort was great. We had our chances down the stretch. We just couldn't take advantage and pull this one out.

en I thought 5-on-5 we really did a lot of good things, we had a lot of great scoring chances. I thought we had some chances down the stretch to tie the game. We just couldn't seem to find the back of the net.

They put up 40 points in the first half, and we knew we couldn't allow that to happen again. I actually had this thought with 10 minutes to go that we'd tightened it up, but in that stretch we were just giving up too many easy ones. ... en I played two very different sets. I had a lot of chances at the beginning of the second set that I couldn't take advantage of. When you have a player that has been in against the best players and you gives him such chances, it definitely makes things more complicated.

en (It) just didn't seem like we were really right all night. I don't really have an answer for that. That guy that got us was Arenas. Unfortunately, we couldn't get him under control. We got the lead back, but couldn't sustain it. We had our chances down the stretch.
