en The one thing you have to be careful with every time you look at a lineup and see that you are playing a team you should beat, is that sometimes you don't put in your best effort. But I think at this point in the season, we're prepared to play our best hockey night in and night out.

en Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. Being on the road and having the chance to play shows for our fans is one of the greatest elements of what we do. After being away for a long period of time, we can't wait to get home. Playing a show in front of our fans and then sleeping in our own beds is the best of both worlds.

en I was fortunate enough to play an exhibition game there, so I've seen the place before, I know how it is. It's sold out every night, and the fans are really into it. It's just a great place to play, and I'm looking forward to it.

en I wanted to keep playing in Denver for a long time.

en Tiger Stadium is another level. Our fans are great. Our fans are very supportive, but down there they're wild. They get up for football regardless of who they're playing, regardless of what time it is, but especially at night. They stay up all day to prepare for kickoff. They're probably the loudest. They're probably as loud in pregame as they're going to be in the fourth quarter. They just love their football down there.

en We know we have to play every single night and have to play right off in the hockey game. You can't come into this building and just go at it half (way). You have to go at a full go. There are things to play for. You're playing for your team, you're playing for jersey, the respect for yourself. You are hockey players.

en It's going to be great having the fans supporting us. We really appreciate that. But at the same time, you can't win with the fans. You've got to go out and play hockey. We realize that. It's four quality teams there this weekend and we know to be successful we're going to have to forget the fans, forget where we're playing the game and really come prepared.

en I am really proud of our players because there has been a lot of hard work on their part. The thing I'm really excited about is we will be playing on neutral courts. It was a tough route going up to Connecticut last season. We can deal with altitude but it's a lot more difficult to go out and play on a home court. Louisiana Tech is a great team. I know Chris Long well and he has done a great job as a first-year coach. It will be a tough one out there but it's something we will look forward to. We know we have to go out to Denver and take care of business. We can only take it one game at a time and we won't look past anything.

en Our research told us that NHL fans were more informed than most sports fans, that they were very passionate and very loyal. It showed us that almost unequivocally, fans were supportive of the league in its efforts to put an economic model in place for long-term stability, and that about 95% of fans said they would come back and support the league when it returned.

en This is my first time playing them, but it's a big deal in the area. It's good for hockey. It's good for the business of hockey. It's great for fans in the area. I think they enjoy this. Regardless of what the outcome of the series will be, it will be talked about for a long time.

en I am really disappointed for the tournament organizers, the fans and of course myself, ... I was looking forward to playing in Antwerp for the first time since becoming No. 1 in the world and wanted to show the fans what I'm capable of. It's really unfortunate.

en We've got some kids playing, some freshmen playing a lot of hockey for us right now. Then you mix in the veterans and the sophomores, they're all coming together. They're seeing what high school hockey is all about, it's a long season.

en This was a big win for us. We've been looking forward to this game for a long time. We wanted to play [Friday] so bad. There was some discussion before the game about not playing because of the rain, but we really wanted to play. We had some rain in the first inning, but it was fine after that. I was very happy that we got this team.
