We think the report in fact shows that the subsidies are a great thing for us. Do the math and you will see that every dollar invested with Wal-Mart has returned more than $30 for the community. We expect to see lots of other local governments will be asking for that $30 deal.

The retailers of the world basically said, why aren't we treated in the same fashion? State governments are getting sales tax. Local governments are getting sales tax. Local governments are getting meals and lodging taxes. And all of that is a derivative of our investment in their community.

Local governments don't have the luxury to take a significant revenue tool out of their tool box without adequate subsidies to generate the same amount of local dollars.

The local governments should be putting more resources into this. They should be raising taxes, whatever they have to do to deal with people who are breaking the laws of this land. I can tell you this for a fact that they would come up with the money if they knew specifically it would go to house these individuals or to provide more of this service.
