en A lot of corners just don't care for tackling. But we like hitting and we won't shy away from contact.

en He's fast and he has good range for the safety position and he's done a good job as a contact player both in hitting and tackling and forcing the run when he's been asked to.

en He's been catching and running the last few days, but this was the first day he came out in full pads and got in the mix to some degree. The only thing he didn't do was tackling (full contact), but he did everything else.

en Her strength is location. She's really a smart player. If she's hitting the corners, we're going to win.

en I think they're coming around. We strike out four or fewer times per game, and that's excellent. It's a whole lot easier to get yourself hitting if you're already (making contact) than to get yourself hitting from striking out. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. If we continue to push and feel positive, it'll happen if we make it happen.

en I think it's a good decision. We don't need to be hitting each other in the corners, for sure. There's probably nothing we can do to the cars this week, but at least they're doing something about it before it gets out of control.

en He just didn't miss. He was throwing strikes and hitting corners. There were a lot of three- and four-pitch at-bats.

en I like the battles in the corners or behind the nets. I like hitting the other guy when he is bigger than me and to try to take him down. Usually I fall down too but it doesn't matter.

en I don't care how complicated they make the game seem, it's really based on two principles and those are blocking and tackling.
