en We made only two field goals in each. We couldn't get our shots from the outside to fall.

en They made their first three or four shots, and you look up and it's 13-0. We had some good shots, but we just couldn't get anything to fall. Briana Buchanan was outstanding for us, and once she hit a couple there, I knew we'd be OK.

en We just couldn't shoot the ball. We were 14 of 54 from the field or something close to that horrendous number. Every kid played as hard as they could, but if the shots don't fall there isn't much you can do.

en They made threes, but the free-throw disparity we just couldn't overcome. I think this is my 19th or 20th year in the NBA -- I'm not sure. I don't think I've ever seen a stat sheet where two [different] players shot and made more free throws than our whole team. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. We made 10 more field goals than them and got beat by eight points.

en In that first quarter there definitely was a lid on the basket for us. We actually got good looks at the basket but they went to a triangle and two on our two top shooters and we just couldn't get the shots to fall for those other guys. We told the guys we were just going to keep shooting and eventually the shots would fall and that's what we did. Once we started hitting some shots we started taking control.

en Our players deserve a lot of credit just for making the game hard on him. You look at his field goals that he made, the shots were contested. I thought we did an excellent job tracking him.

en We only had three field goals, but more importantly, we gave up 27 points. We just had some defensive breakdowns. Sometimes we played good defense and they made shots. That's why we're tipping our hats to them.

en Offensively, we just couldn't get our shots to fall or we'd [commit] a turnover. We were not getting the shots we were getting in the first half.

en Our game plan focused on stopping Motta. He managed to get 11 points, but holding him to three field goals is a tribute to our defense. We made him work hard and I couldn't be more pleased with our effort.

en We told them at halftime that we we're getting off good shots, we just couldn't get them to fall. We did a better job of moving without the ball in the second half and got in better position to make some easier shots.

en They were missing shots, rather than us playing good defense. We were talking about that between [the first and second] quarters. Had they made those little shots, they would have had a lead on us. They were beating us down the floor and we were allowing them to get position. Fortunately for us, the shots didn't fall for them.

en I think the difference tonight was the fact that we just couldn't get anything to fall for us. Our shots were off. We had a hard time rebounding. We just couldn't gain momentum.

en We were getting the same open shots, they just weren't falling. It was kind of frustrating to run the offense and the shots are there, they just aren't going in. It was about missed free throws and field goals today.

en We made him take some tough shots that usually would fall for him. They just didn't fall this time. He was aggressive but he still left with a doughnut.

en It's so, so frustrating. Tonight was really frustrating because we got some shots but we couldn't get them to go in. I thought we had good legs, but for whatever reason the shots didn't fall.
