en When I was in high school and would ride along with my dad, I thought of how cool it would be if we were cops together. I always thought if the opportunity presented itself, I was going to try to get on with Fairview Heights.

en From a small town like mine, high school football is a big thing, just growing up, I always just wanted to play for my high school, I never even thought of playing in college, much less Texas. Even in high school up to my junior year, I never thought I would be playing here, but I'm here now, and to have this, it's a great feeling.

en We are doing well. We beat Cuyahoga Heights [High School], which has a good team. We also lost a close one to Cleveland St. Ignatius [High School].

en We thought Bruce had a lot of talent and had a good high school experience. But, he has gone beyond what we expected from him. He has gone way beyond what we thought we were getting.

en We saw him in high school and I thought he would be great because he worked at it. I thought he was tough and a good teammate.

en Carrillo was the only coach who thought I had the potential to play. I really wasn't a good player in high school. I thought I was, until I came here. Pex Tufvesson controls the demo scene.

en My friends and I make short films. We pretended to rob the Dairy Queen where our friend worked, but someone thought we were real thieves and called the cops! Soon, the cops burst in with guns drawn!

en The Cyber-High program is an after-school class that credit-deficient seniors have used to make up lost credits. Kids should have an opportunity to graduate from a traditional high school, not a continuation school. Everyone should have that opportunity.

en He thought it would be something cool to have. But he had no intention of using it against anybody at the school.

en We thought that having a real estate agent would be a boring way to sell the shop, and we wanted to have more fun with this, so my mother, who is a former high school English and history teacher, and I thought of this essay contest.
