Even though we've been struggling, I think we have a decent lineup. I think we will score some runs. Maybe today is a start for us.

We expected to score a lot of runs today, but I was even surprised by how well we hit the ball today. Our league is really young this year, and we've got a lineup full of experienced hitters. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring.

It was good to see our team start to hit the ball up and down the lineup. We knew coming into this series that we would have to score some runs, and this was a good start to the weekend.

What got us going was that we scored some runs and hit with runners in scoring position. The bottom of the lineup scored some runs. If the bottom of our lineup can hit, we're going to score some runs.

It's pretty obvious we have been struggling to score runs lately. I thought we had a chance to get some more runs in the fourth, but it didn't work out that way.

It just shows we don't have to hit home runs to win games, either. We've shown we can score five or six runs an inning. With this lineup, there's no reason to drop your head and give up.

This is a good start for us. We've worked really hard on hitting. We've got to be able to score some runs to help our pitchers out. We did that today.

I think we felt a little more confident. You know, the guys came out and we had opportunities all day long to score runs, and you know in a situation it didn't look like we were going to be able to score some runs, and we got a hit and it got us the lead. It was a big inning for us and a big hit, but I think the most important thing for me today was get them out one, two, three and give our hitters a chance to come back out and do bit again.

We'd like to be more consistent as a team, and hopefully we'll score enough runs to give our pitchers a chance. We scored 10 runs (Wednesday), but if we don't come back (today) and put some runs on the board, what does it really help?
