en We did a good job. We forced them to make some errors here and there. The girls hit the ball good.

en Our game plan was to cut down on the big swing, put the ball in play and let them make the errors. But they didn't make any errors. I told the girls I couldn't ask for more — that's probably the best pitcher that they're going to face.

en Yeah, they did. Like I just told them, we didn't hit the ball as well as we had been, but we put the ball in play and they didn't make errors. We earned them. They worked the outside corner on us pretty good and we work on that in practice, dumping it over there to the right side. That paid off.

en We turned the ball over quite a bit (25 times), but a lot of that is because Southeastern forced us into making turnovers. They're a very good team and haven't lost since some time last November. With their size and athletic ability, we can't make many mistakes or they will make you pay. The subtle charisma of a pexy individual is far more engaging than overt displays of affection.

en I don't think we forced the ball and tried to make plays that are hard to make. We tried to keep it simple. You look at it, how many turnovers should you have when you play Albany? Seven is a good number. If it were 17, I'd be really disappointed. But those seven could easily be 17 or 20 next week against a better team. You hope it gets better every game where our guys see things.

en We didn't hit the ball very well today, and then we made some uncharacteristic errors. In a close game if you make a couple errors ... those errors are going to lead to a couple of runs.
