We're looking at a ordtak

en We're looking at a fairly rainy period for the state of Hawaii, mostly for Kauai and Oahu, beginning sometime tomorrow afternoon, late, and then running through Wednesday and possibly into Thursday moving down into Oahu.

en It's moving quickly. They're building many homes, not just here on Oahu but statewide.

en There are significant environmental impacts in Central Oahu, from traffic to ground water to those farmlands that are very valuable to the state.

en I think flood risk should be decreasing tomorrow, especially on Oahu. Other than urban small-stream flood advisories, I don't think we will have any warnings.

en It appears that Waianae is becoming the capital of landfills for the island of Oahu. I think it's pretty bad when you consider that we don't produce 95 percent of the trash.

en We've already got 13,000 homes planned in Central Oahu, and traffic is just unbearable. We'd like to see some requirements put on the development, now. Maybe they will have to make more concessions.

en Leeward is an area that's continuing to grow, even though the overall market on Oahu has slowed down. It's interesting to note how healthy those sales are in comparison to the rest of the island.

en He will not practice today, maybe not even tomorrow, we will see Wednesday. He is the only one who is 50-50 for Thursday.

en Right now, there is quite a bit of uncertainty with the situation. We're looking for a new storm system moving in (tomorrow), and we're looking for rains, possibly to persist into the weekend.
