en Lots of people are moving to this band which stretches from the tip of Cornwall and comes through Belgium, covering a good part of Belgium and France, then going to Germany and then it will go through Austria and Hungary.

en He's a great kid and one of our leaders. I think a lot of players watch his example. Chemistry is a funny thing with each team. I think with this team, everyone respects each others' roles and respects what each other can do. That starts at the top with Paul. A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them.

en The problem I have with the whole sequel thing is it's not just sequels. It's once we see that World War II combat shooters work, we've got 50 of them. The funny thing is the next year after we saw that, everyone thought, 'If World War II worked, Vietnam would work too.' But all those games were a disaster. Now we've got how many more World War II games coming out?

en Every time we tour it's like starting over. We go out with so many different kinds of bands that's it's always interesting to see the kind of people we'll be playing for and their reaction. So far, it's always worked. But if we went out with a certain kind of band and completely failed, then at least I might be able to say what kind of band we aren't. But thankfully, it hasn't happened yet.

en I think what we are trying to do as Audioslave is de-emphasize the cyclical nature of modern recording artists where a band tours for a year and a half and then vanishes for two years, ... What we'd like to do is make records and tour. Write music, tour, record, tour. Keep it all going all at once like bands did in the '70s. Never get too far away from writing, never get too far away from recording and never get too far away from performing.

And I think that we'll try to do something different on the next tour, step it up.

en It's only music, it's not that complicated. People tend to go, 'Oh, this guy is so good.' He might be, but it's the whole band. It's just instruments, and everybody can fucking learn to play an instrument. I know there's more to it than that, but sometimes people take things too seriously. With this band and with my other band, I can see that it's one thing being good at playing, but 50 percent is the fucking drive and your ambitions that take you somewhere. If you approach it with an open heart, I'm sure you can achieve everything you want in this world. That's our motto.

en It's been going well. I've had to take a little break from the band to do the 'Idols' tour. But I'm enjoying this tour.
