en Further liberalization of the economy and infrastructure improvements will help India's trend growth. Such reforms coupled with continued fiscal consolidation will help India achieve investment grade over time.

en India is a long-term structural growth story that cannot be ignored. There may be a few hiccups along the way, but it's an emerging market that's going to evolve into a mature market over time. That's the growth story that people can participate in by investing in India over the long term.

en The biggest issue in India obviously remains the regulatory environment, which makes the near-term investment in India likely to be significantly less than the investment which we see in China.

en But as a country (India) which has its own political constraints. India is doing a lot for our country, economically as well. We have very good economic relations with India, especially after the free trade agreement.

en While the U.S. still dominates the list, 2006 really belongs to some of the more emerging markets. And no country speaks to that more than India. With its stock market up more than 50 percent in the past 12 months, India is home to 10 new faces.

en India has the poorest financial position but it has the ability to consolidate and be investment grade.

en The mobile penetration is quite low compared with other countries, so we see a lot of potential in India. We are increasing our investment in the India market.

en If India doesn't create the necessary infrastructure, it will hurt growth. India must take strong political steps to free up resources for investment.

en My grandparents were from India only. My relations are all in India, my mother belongs to India but the circumstances took a different turn and it all changed. I still have my uncle, I still have my relations (in India), we don't have any relatives here.

en India's access to civilian-nuclear technology is indeed necessary in order to drive and fuel India's economic development.
