en We really didn't get too many good chances to score on someone like that. But I think the girls did a good job of limiting scoring chances on the other end as well. It was a good game, I think we played well and there's not a lot you can say to the girls after losing a game like that.

en Our defensive intensity was really good to start the game. I had to sell the idea that if you play really good defense most of the time and you're struggling a bit offensively, the defense will break some things loose.

en Every year, regardless of whether the timber industry is struggling or the fishing industry is struggling, one stable factor has always been this game. Economy-wise, we've been through more than our share of tough stretches, but this has always been something for the towns to rally around when times haven't been good.

en We really rebounded well after the Game 1 loss; Alice really pitched a good one for us in the second game. We didn't play bad in this series. In our last outing, we had 15 errors and just had two this time. That's a lot better and the girls played better.

en We got good production out of all of our girls. Meehan had just an outstanding game, and we were rolling right along until Amber got into foul trouble. The girls who came in off the bench did a good job too, though.
