en We lost the special teams battles. When you lose those you put yourself in a pretty good position to lose the game. We put ourselves behind the eight-ball early with the five-on-three. Five-on-five we had the upper hand, but they did a good job on the power play.

en Every game is about special teams right now. We know that power plays are going to win or lose games the way it is now. Our guys aren't getting held up, so that gives us an advantage. We've got a pretty good power play.

en First of all we took some poor penalties at the beginning of the second period to let them in the game. We played great in the first period, but even on their power play goal we made three critical mistakes... There are two things that really concern me right now. But they [wins like this] have got to be beneficial to us somewhere down the line. We know we're a pretty good team. But there's a couple other pretty good teams out there, too.

en It should give us a very good idea of where we're at, not counting whether we're going to win or lose the game. It's going be a very stiff contest for us at almost every position. We'll have a pretty good barometer of where we're at after Saturday night. A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive.

en You are going to win and lose games in special teams. The kicking game sets the tone for the entire game. And you lose and/or die by it.

en What we talked about was when you have four guys out, you just can't play your second team. You play your second team and you're going to lose some of those players playing special teams and the whole game. Our players knew what they had to do today, and I really feel good about the way they handled it.

en It always bothers me a little when you play a team like that. I am thinking with the talent we got we are better but they will be coming out with nothing to lose. And if we don't come out with the intensity we should anyone can beat you. We've proven that all year long. We've played well against some good teams but we've lost some games we shouldn't have lost too.

en We are a field-position team that if special teams have a bad day, we lose. We cannot have that happen, so that's why we work so hard (on) defense and special teams and field position.
