I think Monty is ordtak

He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. I think Monty is one of the best big guys in the league. He can do so many things. He is long. He is athletic. When he plays with confidence and energy, he is as good as anyone.

Monty and I have both put pressure on ourselves to be the best we can be. But those guys are legends around here for a reason--they've made legendary plays, ... You have two different guys trying to play those roles on the team, but we can't pretend to be those guys. We have to be Monty and Chad.

We know they have a lot of long, athletic guys that like to take it up and down the floor a lot. They like to get lots of high-energy plays, and it's going to be our job to contain them. It's going to be a really tough game.

The toughest for me are the guys who guess a lot. The good one I play against every year is Samari Rolle. He doesn't just play it by the book. He plays with instincts. Those are the tough guys for me. They can get beat a lot, other times they can look unstoppable. They jump routes. They sit on certain things. They can make plays on pure instincts and pure athletic ability.

There were 150 plays run in two hours, so the tempo was crisp, and the guys are picking up the system. The execution is clean, particularly, and defensively they've got a really good energy and confidence.

He's just a good dude that plays the game right. Grady just has a great way about him. First off, he's a great player, and he's going to be a great player in this league for a long time. He'll be one of those guys that doesn't really change, other than he'll be able to afford a few more things.

That was a huge win for our program because we're rebuilding. The way this league is set up now is incredible. Anyone can beat anyone else on any given night. Being 2-2 is good for us. We know we have a long way to go. But, hopefully, the win against Louisville will give our guys some confidence.

The energy was good today early. I knew we'd be in the game. I hope guys realize that we can't wait for good things to happen and then have energy. You've got to come with it first, and then good things follow.

I call it push and pester, or grab and clutch, ... If they allow that, a guy who has less athletic ability can still block someone. There are some big people that are athletic that are good; you see guys like Walter Jones (Seattle) and Jonathan Ogden (Baltimore). He's a smart guy. He knows what to do every week and he works hard. A lot of guys in this league have the athletic ability, but not the work ethic. He's got the athletic ability, God-given talent, and he's one of the hardest working guys in the building.

(Caron) plays really well against (Carolina). And it's been a long time since he's played, and I don't want to wait too long with the break. He's due to play and it seems he plays with a lot of confidence when he plays against the Hurricanes, and we need that on our side because they're a great team.

Plays like that that, we need more often from myself, Rudy ? guys who are really athletic. It gets the team going and gets the crowd going. Everybody has their ego. I'm not going to take anything away from Villanova calling themselves, ?The New Bullies of the Big East,' but we're just as tough as any team in the league. We played hard, we played tough and we're a damn good team.

They're a very athletic team. They have two guys playing well in the post, which allows them to make plays at the basket both offensively and defensively. They're probably the hottest team in the league right now. They'll give us a fight.

The competition there has been really close and really good. Between all those guys, we have a lot of confidence in whoever is out there. Who plays the best and makes the best plays will get the most time.
