en I believe I had better command today. I was able to get out of trouble with ground balls.

en It was evident in his first game that Darrell had no fear. He has the pitches that get you ground balls and strikeouts. His fastball command has improved. Now he is getting a strike on the first pitch most of the time. When he gets ahead, a batter is in trouble.

en He's getting better. He may do a couple little things here today. I think, by the end of the weekend, [we'll] get him out there, let him take some ground balls. He's still a few days away, anyway.
