en I've either crashed or the car has broken down so I'm hoping things are going to change this year.

en I just think the key is to be focused on the things that matter the most, defense and rebounding, playing together and toughness. We're hoping to change the energy in which we play. Hopefully change a lot of things in regard to our play and our focus.

en We don't want to change too much of what we've been doing this year. Kids can sense a bit of panic if you change things up too much from what you've been doing. We have a plan, but we are basically going to do the same things we've done all year.

en This is his second broken nose of the year. He's got two broken noses and a broken leg going right now. Hopefully, he can stay healthy here the rest of the way.

en For 20 years, we have had broken politics and broken government. This is our chance to change.

en For a while, you hoped the thing would turn, you know? That one of the operations in one of those towns over there would set things straight -- or, especially, those elections. Those Iraqis showed up against guns to vote. I kept hoping something like that would change things around.

en We're hoping to build on last year. Our goal is to get by the second round of the tournament and to be competitive with some of the big teams in the SCC and get into the SCC tournament. We want to capitalize on our experience. These guys all have a lot of time as varsity players last year. We are working on solidifying our defense. We're hoping we can get a couple of guys besides Matt to score some goals. If we do those things, we should be all right.

en What I was hoping was by bringing in him would be that these guys would be excited to see him and we could get a lift - and I think they were. He came in and did some pretty good things. He made some nice shots and ran some pick and rolls. We needed to have a change and he was a change. I think the guys responded to him returning tonight.

en I'm always looking forward to the season. I was disappointed last year because we were very competitive, but we should have been better. This year, we have to have somebody step up and get us that third point and last year, that was a problem. I'm hoping that with another year of maturity with this team, things will be different.

en The one thing I did learn this year is that things change fast. You've got to be able to adapt. I guess that's the way life is. You just don't know what things are going to change.

en One (DNF), I spun out here and crashed, ... I was frustrated. I got too aggressive and crashed. That was worth at least 100 points. All I needed was to be safe.
