en I'm not sure what happened to the track, whether someone was dropping oil or what, but the track was very slick in the afternoon. I was losing three-tenths per lap on a couple of the turns. It was very tough to drive.

en The track was really slick and dirty this morning. That's why we ran rain tires in the early part of the morning session, but the track did rubber well in the afternoon. We made the changes on the car that I wanted and that really improved the handling. The track is a little bumpy than last year, but we can deal with that. I'm a little upset because what always happens on the a street course happened on the last lap. I felt I was on a 63 flat (seconds) lap and the yellow came out and we didn't the lap in. That seems to happen a lot on the street course. Right when you have everything together for a flying lap, boom, the yellow comes out. It is frustrating. But we'll be better on Saturday.

en It was a tough run and we tried really hard. The track changed a little bit from the morning to the afternoon which was a little bit to our favour. We tried something in the beginning of the top-six qualifying and it didn't work, and we had to stop right away. We used the tyres up and the track was better. At the end of the day, I don't think we would have been able to catch Ryan. He did a good job. Now we look forward to the race tomorrow and hopefully will do well.

en The track is a little bigger than what we normally run around here and I actually thought it might be too big for micros, but as I got racing on it, it seemed really racy. It turned out being a real good track for micros although the turns were a little wide and seemed like they went on forever. You could probably start last and win on the track.

en I had always liked track in high school but it just happened (that I) excelled in football (more) than I had in track. I wouldn't say the injury put me on the right track ? it had me down for awhile because I was enjoying football at the time ? but I guess things happen for a reason, so who knows. Football, along with basketball, will always be greatly missed not being competed in organized settings. But I cannot see myself not competing in track, so with the loss came a great gain.

The surface of these slick Cooper A1 tires can become almost gel-like with the high track temperatures, and the way that they 'squash' into the track surfaces really helps with grip and cornering. en Dover is a tough track to repeat success on. It's so fast. Just the fact that the track is concrete, and you are constantly being thrown towards the wall coming out of the corners, makes this a difficult track for everyone. You have to be aware of everything going on, because things happen quickly and sometimes there's just nowhere to go.

en It's really slick out there. It's hard to see in the dark because of how dusty it is. The pavement all looks the same too. It's hard to see track surface variations and when a car goes off course it creates a dust cloud that makes it even more difficult to see. Then the car brings the dirt back on to the track. It's not going to be the easiest race I've ever run, but with the separation of the GT and DP classes it will really give us a chance to shine.

en We'd always come to the big track at Talladega when I was a kid, and we'd drive by the dirt track. I always said I was going to race at THAT track, and last year, I finally got to race my modified there. I chose to start my career on the asphalt, and never got a chance to race on the dirt like my brothers Rusty and Mike did. So now, I'm just catching up.

en It's always good to get a win, but especially right now with us losing a couple of games, to get us back on track.

en Indoor track always has much less preparation than outdoor track, since we don't have an indoor track. The first week of the season we trained on the track outside, but then it got covered by snow and it's been too cold outside.

en We lost track of her a couple times. And she's too good of a shooter to lose track of.

en It's not easy here, it's a tough track. And I haven't always played my best golf at the right time. This track, you got to hit the ball well.
