en This was a slow-paced game compared with what we played on Monday. We missed some shots that I don't think we should be missing at this point in the season ... (but) I liked some of the looks we had defensively.

en We missed shots. We missed shots, we missed shots, we missed shots. We had opportunities, and the guys played their hearts out. Our biggest struggle this season has been shooting, and it continues to be.

en We got off to a slow start defensively. In a timeout, coach challenged us to a man to get back defensively, not allow easy three-point shots and I thought we did that.

en We played a very good game for about 29 minutes. In the last three minutes, we had four costly turnovers. We had a nine-point lead with 3 minutes left. I know they had a three-point play and hit a 3-point shot. We missed a couple of shots and that turned it around for them. We played a good game though.

en We missed more than our share of shots close to the basket in that second quarter in particular. So that was the ball game. We missed about seven or eight point-blank shots in the first half.

en We played a lot better defensively, and we played a faster-paced game like we're used to.

en I thought we did some good things defensively. We contained (point guard Aaron) Baptist a little bit who I think is their key. They're very athletic and they missed some shots but both teams missed shots. They're a good basketball team. I'm proud of our effort. I just want us to keep working hard against good teams like this.

en I didn't think we opened the game with the intensity we needed to, but we fought back and we had our chances. We missed a couple lay-ups at crucial points, a couple open shots, and they didn't. They hit those shots, that was the difference. Both teams played pretty well defensively. Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness.

en I don't think we've ever played a game that ugly. I don't remember ever missing that many point blank shots, making that many turnovers and still having the lead.

en I thought we came out on fire at first. Then we let them get back into the game with a lot of lapses defensively. We were hot with the three and then we missed a few and kept shooting them. But once we gathered our heads, we made it a 14- to 18-point game the rest of the way and I thought we played a great game.

en Offensively we struggled a bit in the first half, but defensively we played well throughout the game. We missed quite a few shots in the first half we should have made.

en We had some great chances and we just missed. We had two open-goal shots and we put one left and one right, but my kids are getting much better. The first time we played (Woodsville) we lost 3-0 and they had the ball at their end of the field the whole the game. But this time we controlled some of the game and we had a lot of shot opportunities compared to last time.

en We can't let them play their up-tempo style. We won't be able to run with them. They are playing well, despite having lost three, 1,000 (career) point scorers from last season. They haven't really missed a beat. We need to slow this game down.

en It was a slow-paced game, and it took us a long time to get anything going. We played better in the second quarter, but again it was the third. We just weren't in it.

en They missed open shots. They didn't shoot well at Kentucky and I think it carried over tonight. They just looked uncomfortable. Making shots is contagious, and missing shots is contagious. They missed a lot of shots tonight.
