en Our goal tonight was to play the players on the bench and not get anybody hurt.

en We did a nice job of taking the ball the other way tonight. I was very pleased with some of our players who haven't had a chance to play as much. To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations. They got in there and had disciplined at-bats. I was pleased with the way our bench carried itself. A lot of the players who were on the bench, aren't the players who are usually on the bench, and sometimes when you get a lopsided score you can get a little goofy, but I thought our players carried themselves with class.

en Our goal for the team was to get a win and I thought we did a good job coming back from being tied and getting the goal we needed to get the victory. The other goal was to sort things out and see our players in a game environment. We got a good look at everyone. We will figure out a lot of things out from tonight's match. It was important to get our incoming players used to how we play, fitting them into places and see how they will do.

en We were short-handed tonight. Our players had to play positions that they just don't practice, and it hurt us. Felice is our only senior and obviously it's going to hurt us when she is not with us. However, we started three freshmen, and for them to get this much experience is invaluable.

en I was pleased with out effort tonight. I was able to clear the bench and allow some players quality play time.

en A lot of our guys are overlooked on this team. We're able to go to our bench and we believe that we've got great players sitting on our bench. Tonight, they pulled it off.

en I thought we played hard in the third. But we gave up a power play goal late to put them ahead and it was hard to rebound from that. I give our players on the bench a lot of credit after that goal against. They didn't quit. They didn't want to quit. They continued to play hard.

en From beginning to end, they had a lot of energy. They were a lot more hungry than we were. Tonight we needed everybody from our starters to our bench players to give us a lift. I struggled on down to the last person off the bench.

en For the bench to play the way they did was humungous. We got 19 points from our bench tonight. In that second quarter, we had that spurt. We shot the ball really well tonight, the best we've shot all season.

en It was a poor effort. We have some players who have to learn to show up and play. Twenty-two players tonight didn't show up the first two periods, and that hurt us.

en I definitely think we'd probably be back in class. It would be tough to play without good bench players, and they're not just bench players. They're really good. I mean, they could start and they've really helped us out. You can't win many games with five guys.

en It was a great team effort. We had guys step up tonight. With having some foul trouble and injuries to fight through, I thought that the play we got from our bench players was as good as it's been all year.

en We didn't play very well tonight to tell you the truth. If our bench didn't come to the rescue, we would have been in trouble. Michele Hagan had a big night with 13 points and 13 rebounds in 13 minutes. That's almost a triple-double. And Jill saved us in the first half. We weren't shooting very well, and she came in and hit some threes and got four rebounds. The bench carried us tonight.

en Our defense in the second half was great. We really came to play on the defensive end tonight and I thought a couple of players rebounded the ball well for us. Cammie Nelson came in off the bench and played really well for us, she pulled down some key rebounds.

en They probably have 10 good players. They can go to their bench and not hurt themselves.
