At the start of the second half, defensively, we were able to adjust to some of the things they did in the first half but I knew they would never go away and just tried to keep our kids focused.

Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. We went back to what we normally do and that's pressuring the ball. She had a tougher time in the second half scoring. In the first half it was so easy.

We held their offense to one touchdown in the first half. Things were looking good. In the second half, we lost our focus. We knew what we had to do to stop them and we would have stuck with them if we were focused in the second half.

Defensively, we played with a purpose in the first half. Our kids took advantage of what Eminence gave us in the first half. Our seniors were focused on this game and getting the Powder Keg back.

We weren't very intense in the first half. We were a little bit more focused and were able to do some things, defensively, in the second half. A win's a win and we're glad to get it.

Tonight I thought our second half was especially good. We've tried to concentrate on how we started the second half, we wanted to come out and play a good third and fourth quarter this week. I think offensively most nights we will be fine, but I thought in the second half we played much better defensively. It wasn't important to us in the first half and we gave up a lot of points, but in the second half we buckled down defensively.
