en I think I can kind of be an instrument in my workplace to help people get a little more conscious about recycling.

en We felt that [recycling] was getting kind of a negative connotation and people were getting turned off, so part of Linda's idea was [the Recycling Rewards] program, which I think was a good one. Let's create a positive approach here. We do want people to recycle.

en It would open us up to workplace causes of action such as sexual harassment and hostile environment and things of that nature, ... This is the kind of thing that just can't be done in the workplace ... It runs the risk of offending people.

en What we've seen in the last couple of years is flat recycling percentages. This Recycling Rewards program is part of an entire strategy to increase the amount of recyclables coming into our [materials recycling] facility.

en She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. Not just younger people but older people, too, because the drums are that kind of instrument where people are not intimidated.

en I definitely was more conscious of making sure I didn't take any chances on doing something that would set me back. I think the last two springs were kind of fluke-ish. At the same time, I'm more conscious of it, but I don't want to worry about it so much that I don't live a normal life.

en We are pleased to be part of this campaign as while people are good at recycling their green glass, we know that the recycling of brown and clear glass is less common and we need to make our residents more aware of this, and why it is important.

en The surveys show that many Pennsylvanians clearly believe that drug-free workplace policies are working and increase safety in the workplace. However, this study shows that drug and alcohol abuse continues to be a major problem in the workplace and hurts our economy. More companies, especially small- to mid-sized companies, need to implement drug-free workplace programs to reduce drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace.

en My impression is that these (business owners) are people who care very much about the people who work for them. So we have put together information for companies dealing with common workplace issues, such as how to identify depression and how to resolve issues dealing with bereavement and grief in the workplace.

en In order to implement recycling, you need funding for a start-up program. The recycling program at Tech does as much as possible with funding, but ultimately it would be awesome if we could pursue recycling further.

en What kind of society, given the choice between recycling a mountain of paper and denuding a mountainside of trees would make a decision to do the latter? The answer: our kind. And it is time to change that.

en This kind of significant increase means that people are making a conscious decision to save the lives of others.

en The people who are contributing to us, they don't want any kind of backlash until this vote is over. Afterwards, yeah, it's all going to come out. We've made a conscious decision just to pay the fine that we're probably going to get levied against us.

en I might even be able to educate interested students about recycling, by taking them to a recycling convention this summer.

en Recycling is one of our most effective tools to protect our environment. We are glad to support efforts to increase recycling in the Nogales community.
