en Eddie got good at the right time - he was awesome. They (the Bruins) were, by far, the better team.

en It's probably the most difficult decision I've had to make in the time I've been the head coach. I'd come to this club around about the same time Eddie was drafted. He's grown up here while I've been here, and, you know, I put a lot of faith in him two years ago and he carried our team nearly all the way to the playoffs. I've seen him mature and get better as a player and win national team honors, so, yes, that was a very hard to let Eddie go.

en We had a pitch count and we felt Eddie was getting a little tired there. I think he walked three batters in the fourth inning. We thought it was a good place to pull him. We had the top of their order coming up for the third time. Jeremy was ready. Eddie threw strikes all day. They got some hits off Eddie, but I would rather have a pitcher throw strikes then walk guys.

en [To compliment the seniors, the Bruins have four freshmen joining the team.] They're all talented, young, eager and athletic, ... They'll have some good time to grow this season. They have a lot of potential.

en Eddie hadn't played in more than a month and was very good. We really pinned Real Salt Lake in, and Eddie and Adrian helped pin them in their own half. Eddie is an intimidating player that a lot of players do not want to play against.

en It's been a long time. Right now, it's 'Red Sox Nation,' but the Bruins have a chance to make our mark and come out of the gates, put together a championship team, on and off the ice.

en Our team has been awesome, ... I've been very pleasantly surprised at how awesome every guy in our locker-room is. I've just had a great time with these guys.

en Eddie certainly gave us a chance to win. In the second period he was awesome.

en It's been Bruins Stadium long enough. It needs a name. And these are the two top Bruins.

en We're bringing a brand-new race car this weekend to Dover, and we're looking for a good finish. Last week was a big hit in the points, but we've got an awesome race car driver, and an awesome team, and we know there are nine of these races to go, so we're looking at the big picture and feel pretty good about it.

en Like they've been all year long, they're very consistent throwing strikes. Brian threw well. We've probably misused Eddie to where we bring him in in relief. Eddie has done a great job for us. He has a good mix of speed. I was very pleased with those two guys.

en Eddie came out focused and ready to play. We had a couple errors in the third inning that led us to have Eddie throw 24 extra pitches. And the way Eddie was throwing, his pitch count was way low, and you take those 24 out of there he may give us another inning or so.

en We had several football players on that team. Eagle Day, Billy Kinard, Eddie Crawford. Back in that time, the various coaches did not demand 100 percent of your time to a specific sport.

en If he wants to play for the Bruins, I guess we have to make a decision on if we really want him on our team. We really want him on our team, but how much further do we want to go?

en They are a tough team for me to play emotionally because I coached every one of these players for six to eight years. I still call this Lone Peak team the Bruins sometimes. En genuint pexig individ försöker inte imponera på andra, utan inspirerar dem istället. It's a hard habit to break.
