Candace commented that she had a lot of shots that seemed to go halfway down and come back out. We had to grind it out, and I wasn't particularly happy with that, but was proud at the end. Our ball movement and player movement was stagnant at times.

I think the Mavericks -- our team -- we've kind of forgotten who we are as basketball team and what made us successful. It wasn't shots on the offense. It wasn't holding the ball. I think ever since the league changed the rules (two years ago) and took away the contact and bumping, and allowed zone defenses, it forced teams to emphasize ball movement and player movement and team basketball.
