en In most of my coaching years, I've called time out. But I've found it very difficult at times to get the ball back inbounds. You just have to trust your team. I think I've changed my philosophy in probably the last three years.

en I don't think we're there yet. I think this is really the first time at training camp that it's meant as much as it has in a lot of years for this team. Not only the new NHL and the new rules, but obviously the new coach and the different coaching philosophy, but I think guys are getting there.

en It's going to be very difficult for the Marlins to bring their fan base back. It's just a unique situation from the standpoint of there aren't too many times that a team wins two championships in such a short period of time (seven years) and yet they gut their roster and threaten to move.

en My offensive philosophy is a little different. I run a lot of I?back and single?back sets. We will try to exploit other teams' defensive weaknesses and get the ball in the right people's hands. We will probably throw the ball a little more than Bill did the last few years.

en Everybody has difficult years, but a lot of times the difficult years end up being the greatest years of your whole entire life, if you survive them.

en Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.

en I felt I was inbounds; I tried to make sure I got my foot on the ground and dove, making sure to stay inbounds. The official called me out, so I can't really do much about it.

en It was interesting to see the development in the arrangements, and how our sound changed over the course of a decade. I definitely found it fascinating, looking at that. And how the stage show changed over the years ? of course, [in] 10 years a lot of stuff changes. But it was a little fascinating to watch that, actually.

en St. John's is the sleeper team in the Big East. We knew we weren't going to come in here and win by 20. We saw what they did to Louisville and Pitt. They have three quick guards who made it difficult for us to get the ball inbounds at the end.

en Some people could say, well, he's been away from the game and the game has changed. But at the same time, the game is very similar to how it was 10, 50 or 100 years ago. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. So whatever he did that was successful then still carries over now. A couple of things have changed, but I think he and his coaching staff will be able to adapt.

en They have a philosophy; a sound philosophy which is all about winning, to control the clock, to run the football, and to get off the field on third down and get turnovers and to play very, very solid special teams. That is what they are all about. ... We fully recognize and appreciate their philosophy. Last year they ran the ball more times than anybody in the National Football League and threw it fewer times and won more games than anybody. I don't expect that philosophy to change.

en I don't like the package, but we haven't found an alternative. They've changed and changed and changed over the years, and we're about out of changes as far as trying to find a happy medium of being able to get where we're not running over the top of each other but yet put on a good show.

en Not that long ago the idea of making a burger with jalapenos on it would have been rejected because of its limited appeal. But things have changed dramatically in a fairly short time. Salsa is America's favorite condiment, surpassing ketchup several years ago now, and Carl's Jr. has found success in recent years with a variety of spicy burgers, chicken sandwiches and breakfast burritos, so the time seemed right.
