He ran hard. I ordtak

en He ran hard. I can't work him today. If he can work [Wednesday], we will decide. The way he ran the other day, he's going to be a threat in the Breeders' Cup. We may have to choose a different program.

en It was a big win for our program. We have been working really hard to beat a program of that caliber and it shows that all the hard work has paid off. The strong character of our players really showed up today, especially in overtime when we hung in for the win. Hopefully this is something we can build upon for the future.

en It's a short work week, so Wednesday is a big day for us because we only get two work days, really. We're going hard and we're going late.

en I was running a campaign as late as Wednesday. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. When I returned (to work) Wednesday, I was told I had to choose between City Council or the firm because of the conflicts of me being on City Council.

en When you take something extremely broad, then it is not a work of expansion or work of compression. It's hard because you have to decide what to throw out.

en He will have no more than two works, but he will definitely work at Belmont on the Saturday or Sunday prior to the Breeders' Cup. I may give him a half-mile work at home.

en We have an outstanding group of kids this season. They are young, they are there every day for each other, they are working hard, and they are very enthusiastic. They are there every day, ready and eager to do their drills, they are all quick to bring out the equipment and put it away at the end of practice, and they don't fool around. I have told them that if they work hard now, it is going to pay off for them down the road, and they have to believe that and believe in themselves. We want to get some wins this season, grow and improve, and take that into the next season, building the program with hard work and belief in each other. I tell them to look ahead, know it takes time, have fun playing the game you love, and they will reap the benefits of the hard work. This is a great group of kids.

en Today is like a Wednesday-type practice. We got a lot of work done. It was a fairly clean practice. It was a good work day.

en It's going to be fairly expensive. I haven't seen any, you know, figures we have a high degree of confidence in. I do think there's a good chance it will be over $100 million, and in that case we have to consider what are the opportunity costs of doing that particular bit of work compared to other work (Cooperative Threat Reduction) or any other program is doing in the former Soviet Union, in Central Asia, or in any of the other places we're working.

en Our field events did a great job. I don't think people realize how hard those kids work or what times they work ? 5:30 in the morning on Wednesday, 8-10 at night or later pole vaults. Some people do two practices a day ? Anna [Noguchi] does three.

en We have different personalities and different skills and the kind of things that we do, we can do together that neither of us can do separately. We've been working together so closely that it's kind of hard to decide what's my work and what's her work, it's ours really.

en I don't understand why you're so angry. We come to work every day and we work hard. We really care about this program.

en To find a career to which you are adapted by nature, and then to work hard at it, is about as near to a formula for success and happiness as the world provides. One of the fortunate aspects of this formula is that, granted the right career has been found, the hard work takes care of itself. Then hard work is not hard work at all.

en Coach Thompson has been preaching since he got the job that with hard work, anything can happen. And I think today you saw that hard work pay off.

en I've been doing this so long, it's hard to put it away. The work is not easy work, but it's satisfying work. I enjoy helping people with their lawns, gardens and animals. It's not a sit-behind-your-desk-all-day-type-job. When you work here, you get a free work-out plan.
