en There is always something to learn every time you paint. Watercolor is a series of techniques. You don't paint a leaf, you learn the technique of using water and paint to make a leaf. You learn how to make the paint and the water work together.

en Squirt out a little shaving cream, add Elmer's Glue and make it different colors with food coloring. Paint it on and it stays puffy. It doesn't flatten out like regular paint.

en If you pick up some paint with your brush and make somebody's nose with it, this is rather ridiculous when you think of it, theoretically or philosophically. It's really absurd to make an image, like a human image, with paint, today.
