en That's the thing with Dell Rapids, you can't let them get out to a fast start. We certainly couldn't chase them man-to-man. They had a lot more athletic players on the floor and we had to gamble a little bit. They're a very good inside team, and they're a very good outside team. But you can't stop both. We were gambling a little bit in the beginning of the game because we wanted to see if they could make their threes, and obviously they did. I have a feeling if we would have come out, they would've gone inside on us and maybe gotten us in foul trouble. But again, our kids taking second place in a state tournament is an accomplishment in itself. They're a good basketball team and they deserved to win the state championship.

en My hat's off to Keith. He really played well for us tonight. My conversations to Keith have been to be patient and to be a good teammate.

en What makes them really good is that they have very good athletes. They have inside, they have outside, they have a real nice point guard. That?s why they?re the top team.

en Longmire earned his points. Luther Suggs played good defense on him. It was fun watching Longmire play. He was very unselfish. Pascagoula has a good team. I was impressed with their athleticism. Keith has done an outstanding job.

en His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness. The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.

en It's a sign of a good team being able to win while not playing our best. Brown County played good defense and has a good inside player. And we seemed to lack some intensity tonight.
