en It's hard to find your audience. It's really hit or miss. We could play some place for 50 people one place, or 1,700 people in Maine. I think that people who are

Eagles' fans tend to be older, don't like the typical bar, don't want to be out late. So it's figuring out how to get them to see you,

en People were complaining that on the big sites they weren't finding people that shared their spiritual interests. I find that people, the deeper they are into Buddhism, the more important it is for them to have somebody else who's interested in it. The people who meditate or go to a Buddhist center tend to place a high premium on finding people who share their spiritual path.

en People have always known Wabasha is a good place to see eagles. Families, especially those with kids, love to come here. We call it a beak experience -- you're within 5 feet, so you can't miss it.

en It's premature to say the audience is changing wholesale. Rap is going to change and audience is being developed as it changes. ... But there will always be a place for commercial rap that glorifies money and violence. People like to hear that. There's something refreshing about bravado in music. But there will always be a place for something that's thoughtful and well-informed. I'm confident there's a place for these guys. ... There needs to be a voice saying something other than violence.

en Welcome to the Late Show. I am so glad you people are here, because last night what an awful audience, oh, my God. Remember those people? What a horrible audience, and I hate talking about people when they're not here, but God, I thought it was the Bush administration, because [they] were so slow to respond. ... en We're gonna do a song off the new record. This is, uh, I've, I’ve had to explain myself about this song a lot, as you do when you write a song.

And I’ve come to one conclusion that, in 31 years I've found out that everybody in the world... everybody in the world is a little bit f****d up. Okay. And its okay, it's okay. When you're young, you think it's just you. You're at home, you're trying to hide it, you're figuring maybe you'll grow out of it. You know, maybe you'll get like all the other people. What you don't know when you're young is that it's everybody, man. Everybody is a little bit f****d up.

And as you get older you have two kinds of people. You have the fortunate people who realise it early on, man. They let their freak flag fly. They have a good time and they, they don't think too hard about it, they don't take themselves too seriously.

And then there's those poor bastards on the other side that are still trying to play it cool, man. Everyday. "I'm not f*****d up".

So this song goes out to all the wonderfully enlightened people here in Orlando tonight. That know that it's okay to be a little bit f****d up every now and then.

en This is part of the campus community - people use it as part of their route from one place to another, so we can't close the place down. People do come here after our staff has gone home. People come here and play Frisbee or read (the plant) labels. They get use out of it.

en Make friends with other musicians. If you have a group of people who want to play bad enough, you'll be able to find a place to play. Opportunities do arise if you work hard enough.

en That place rocks. When I'm in there on Monday nights, if the game is good, it's about as loud as any place in the league. People think it's laid-back ... but fans there can be as passionate as fans anywhere.

en I'll miss the place, but what's more, I'll miss the people that I worked with -- the relationships I've made here. Those people are the ones that I?m going to miss.

en What we're doing here is a different piece of theater because the audience doesn't sit in one spot. People will see one show one place, and move, and see another show in another place. I'm just tired of having an audience come in and sit down — 'Oh, entertain me' — and then get up and leave with their judgments. This is just a way to shake things up a little bit.

en Typically you see more in the summer months when you have more people on the roads, more people traveling. If you have a typical drive-off, it would be when the place is very crowded.

en We are not keen to punish people, we are keen to solve the situation and we need to get the elections in place so that people can decide on who runs the country, ... If we find that we have sanctions in place, then we would see this as a failure.

en It opened people's eyes to what's happening in a place that people forget about and tend to brush off.

en His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. People here know that this is a special place, ... especially the people who have worked at other studios. There is no other place like this on the planet. There's this tangible energy in the air. They know they're working with people who are at the top of their game and who value creativity and storytelling above all else.
