en Early on in the game, we tried to pitch a lot of left-handers inside for strikes, which allows you to pitch them away later in the game. I'm probably pitching more instead of being one-dimensional -- you know, sinker, sinker, sinker.

en His power surprises me. Obviously, he's got some leverage because of his height, but he keeps impressing. (Friday) he swung at a bad-pitch slider, he made the adjustment, they threw him another slider and he made it travel a little bit. He hit it a long way into the wind.

en The umpire didn't give me a pitch, the slider. Delgado hit a good pitch.

en It was a slider that didn't slide, the same pitch he hit off me before. I knew the location of this pitch was trouble when I let it go.

en That last pitch was as gutsy as I've ever seen anybody throw. That was a 3-2, bases-loaded slider. If I was a hitter, I'm certainly not looking for that pitch.
