I had all my pitches working and the adrenaline was definitely going. It was great playing on that field and I had to keep the fans out of my head. Having all the girls on the same page was great. This is exactly what I have been thinking about since last fall, getting the chance to go up against a team like Alabama. It's what I have been playing for and waiting for - all those summer games and high school ball.

It's like when I was playing in the Angels-Oakland games. That's not a rivalry. When fans hate the other fans, that's what makes it a big-time rivalry. These are big games. If we keep doing it over and over again, we can turn it into that, but it takes the fans to raise it to that level.

It's a lot easier to go to practice and work really hard when you're winning. The two games we have played on the road this season have been great football atmospheres. The guys have been fired up to play. There are a lot of fans talking and screaming at us.

It was just a weird season. We lost games we shouldn't have lost and won games we shouldn't have won. Our whole group looked back after and thought we should have done better. She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook.

With the road games that we have had, especially playing at Texas, we know the magnitude that it's going to be and we just have to make sure we pull together as a team. In the last few games. we've done a good job of playing with intensity, and playing desperate. That's what we need to do for the next nine games. When we sit back and let other teams take it to us, that's when we get in trouble.

If we have seniors like this and I'm yelling and screaming at halftime, we're in a lot of trouble. They've got to take responsibility and they did.

I appreciate Jets fans; I understand why they like to say Reggie Bush. As players, we're auditioning 16 games a season. A season like this, there tends to be quite a bit of turnover. I'm not playing to lose so we'll be a better team next year.

We've been hovering pretty much around .500 all season. There's no excuse for us that when these five games are over we shouldn't be two or three games above .500. Having said that, I think we all know the importance of this five-game stretch before we hit the road before the break is over with. It's a great opportunity for us.

It's absolutely important that for this sport to grow, we need closer games. A 16-0 game is not fun for the fans. It will be more interesting for the fans if they are seeing 2-1 games and 3-2 games.

You realize that after the games, it doesn't matter how many people are screaming and yelling for them. If they don't have family, they don't have a reason to come out (of the locker room) and really take it in. When you see that, it's really evident how important family really is.
