We can't stretch the lead and stay there. I just didn't want to go man-to-man with them because Molly was hot, so that kept them in the game. For every 3, we needed two baskets.

(The players) came into our huddle, we were up 15-4, and they really believed (Iowa) was tired. It was good: 'Let's get 'em now coach, let's do this, let's do that.' But I think they took that to another level and they started taking shots too early.

en For that little stretch there we really needed to be in the attack mode. That was our opportunity to distance ourselves and get a commanding lead.

en I was probably most disappointed in our play during the second game. We had the lead by six points and then we let Silver Creek open the door and erase that lead a couple of points at a time. Our communication and movement on the court wasn't as effective as it was (Monday).

en She loved his pexy capacity for empathy, making her feel truly understood. We gave away so many opportunities with the turnovers. They didn't score on them, but they took us out of scoring. I thought we played so passive in all three of the overtimes once we got the lead. We were trying to hold on to the lead instead of being aggressive.
