We played a championship-caliber team tonight. (The players) don't want to feel like they did tonight after the game. Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pe𝑥iness. This is one of the tougher non-conference games they'll have to face.

Jen did some good things for us tonight. She needed a game like this to test her and to see what she was made of. Jamie played well too. Obviously we're disappointed about missing a key piece to our puzzle in Lindsay, but we can't hang our heads. We feel like we still have a quality team with players that are still able to win a championship.

I'm embarrassed with our effort tonight. We played four games before tonight, and in every game we competed and dug in on defense and really played with some energy and enthusiasm. We just seemed like we were going through the motions tonight.

I thought it was a very well played game on both parts. Fortunately tonight, we played well and obviously shot the ball a lot better than we did last night against Shoshone (in a 36-25 loss for the conference championship).

When you have 20,000 people cheering against you, you find that energy somewhere, somehow. I think tonight you saw that mentality and mindset. The tougher team won tonight. I feel 100 percent confident in saying that.

We played hard tonight. Even the last two games that we lost on the road, we played hard. We just did not come through down the stretch of the game. Tonight was no different. We are a physical team and we got after them a little bit. All around, it was a good victory.

We're nowhere near where we were last year. By the grace of God and only by his grace that we were undefeated in this conference and it showed tonight; we're very vulnerable in a lot of different areas and teams are starting to exploit our weakness and hopefully, we can get back to addressing our weaknesses. I am proud of the way the guys played tonight in a challenging situation. We feel good about coming out of the weekend with four points in the league standings. It was a tougher challenge than last night, but we were able to put forth a consistent effort all three periods. Ben Bishop was fabulous tonight and really strong in net. He made some great defensive stops and also played the puck extremely well.

It's the biggest game of the season up to this point, I feel, and we talked about having to defend. Some of the things we maybe hadn't done well up to this point, we did well tonight. Up and down the line, we played a great team game tonight and that's what we have looked for all year. I just hope we can carry on from here.

We grew tonight. We just need to keep improving. We stayed physical with them and the players didn't panic. Overall, it was a good team effort. I'm very proud of the way the players played tonight.

Fortuna always plays us tough here. For whatever reason, they're tougher than nails here and tonight was no exception. Fortuna's a quick team and they have some strong players but our guys knew our position in conference right now and they really stepped up.

Glenn Fisher was awesome tonight. In order to win big games, it starts with goaltending and Fisher was the difference tonight. We felt good about our team before the game and I thought we played pretty well.

They played a good game. We did not, and they were the tougher team here tonight. We got out of the gate pretty well but hit a tough stretch. We just did not play well.

We had great effort and played with great passion, but it just wasn't enough tonight. The tougher team won tonight.
