We started off by giving them too much respect and played more defensively than I wanted to see.

Carolina wanted it more than we did. Twenty-one points, normally through the course of the year that would have been enough for us. Defensively going in, we talked about not giving up the big play. We were not able to do that.

I thought we could have played a little bit better defensively. Their chances came from us fouling them in our defensive end, giving them opportunities.
