en I didn't hit a lot of fairways. And there were times when I didn't feel as if I was on a golf course out there.

en When I first saw the course 18 years ago, it was so intimidating. It was a new style of golf, a new concept. So it took some time for guys to learn to like it. en They said they didn't see any signs, but they didn't go up on the golf course where the cougar was seen. We're still a little bit paranoid. (DWR workers) didn't see it, but we believe our neighbors.

en We call him 'plod'. It's fairways and greens with Luke, he kind of plods his way around the golf course. He's a very boring player, which is a compliment in golf.
