So we have to be better this week, bottom line. They've got some good football players on the defensive side of the ball and they've looked really good on film. ... It seems more and more, this league is turning into a defensive league. Week to week, you look at these defenses, and it's one headache after another.

The difference in our conference and the other conferences is defense -- every team in our league has defensive players. It's a tough league, the toughest it has been and we have to play at our very best. Maybe that isn't something they (the players) can do week in week out but it's what they have to do to stay in this league.

I thought Danny did a remarkable job last year, ... with so many injuries on the defensive side of the ball and how they impacted him. He did an unbelievable job of just getting guys ready to go week in and week out, and we're deeper now than we were at this time last year.
