en I didn't expect anyone to roll over in this one. We played bad in two games, but we did enough to win three.

en Any time you get traded and didn't expect it, it's a shock. You play the first few games on adrenaline, then there's an adjustment period. You've got to learn a new city and new teammates. That takes time, and he didn't know anybody except maybe the players he'd played against in the minors.

en We know that that's not acceptable down here. A three-loss season, hey, that's great for some teams. But guys do come back here and they're like, 'Nah, that didn't cut it last year, man.' They don't expect us to lose three games. I really think guys from other schools don't expect us to lose three games. It's really unheard of down here, especially in the last four or five years. We're looking forward to stopping that trend.

en I thought the first half was one of the worst halves we've played since I've been here. It was just absolutely terrible. We didn't make shots, we had no value for the basketball and we didn't get second shots. I don't understand it. We've already played 19 games, and to come out and play how we played, there's no excuse for it.

en I don't expect anything less than everything everyone can give. We've played some bad games this season as a team, but we've never played two in a row without energy and without effort.
