en We weren't ready for the first 20 minutes, and when that happens in this league you're going to get beat. It's a tough break, but it's a lesson for us.

en They weren't going to stop. They're going to keep coming at you. Once league starts, you have to bring your A-game every time out because on any given night you can get beat. We have a tough league, because everyone fights, and they fought us to the end.

en I think we're ready to play them when the puck drops, and we're expecting a battle for 60 minutes. When we do play 60 minutes, we're a tough team to beat.

en It's the West Valley League and the top teams in this league are tough. We know it's going to be a battle. It's going to be tough for any team to make it out of this league. We're just excited and ready to go. Like the girls said, we've been waiting a long time for this.

en I knew it was going to be tough because of the [Titans'] tradition, and they didn't want to be the first team to break their streak. I told 'em we were going to have to play 32 minutes because they weren't going to quit, and by God they didn't.

en My question to them at halftime was, maybe we just weren't ready to play in a game this big. In relation to our season, and the goals that we have, this was a huge game. A league game, at home, coming off a disappointing effort ... we had very high expectations of ourselves today. For one half we met them, and for one half, we did not. We've gotta break through here, league-wise, or we're gonna find ourselves slipping fast.

en The Big East championship means a lot to us. If you can go through 16 games in this league and have to go to the places you do and beat the teams you have to beat, it's really tough. This is a terrific league and to come through it 14-2, I couldn't be prouder of our kids.

en This is not Conference USA. That was a finesse, fast-break type league. This is a football league in a basketball league. We let them push us around on the glass. You've got to put pads on and get ready to go.

en I think we beat a really good team. And we may see them again because I would think they'll be in the NCAA tournament and they'll be a tough out for anybody. I would say they're ready for Patriot League competition now. As long as they don't pick on Army too much.

en You've got to be ready to play any team in this league, and we wanted to be ready tonight and I think we were in the first period. I think that's the biggest thing for us. If we go out there and give it a great effort, we're a tough team to beat. We've got a great chance of winning every game now, and that should be our mind-set.

en We weren't supposed to beat Michigan State, and we beat them. We weren't supposed to beat North Carolina, and we sure weren't supposed to beat Connecticut. So I think we're going to just stick with the script. If folks want to call us a Cinderella, then that's OK. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

en We have another season coming up, and that's what we're getting ready for. We'd like to win the league, but our league is tough. You have to battle every night in this league.

en Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.

en Our slogan this season is that we're not going to let anything beat us - nothing. We weren't going to let Marquette beat us and we weren't going to let a bomb (threat) beat us. For the most part we kept our game faces on while we waited in our rooms.
