I don't know if we've won 21 out of 22, or 34 out of 36, or something like that, but the game we remember is last year's game (vs. Merrimack). They put it to us in front of our own people and they made a pretty good run at the championship.

Confidence is down a little bit. Merrimack's goalie had a phenomenal game. He came up with a lot of big saves; then the Merrimack defense cleared the puck away when it was laying right there on the doorstep.

Coming from our freshman year, we've come such a long way. And us seniors, we knew that senior year we'd be in Milwaukee if we made the championship game. It's a dream come true for us. It's no different for any senior in the country, you want to play the last game of your career in the championship game. And we're ready. We just want to get to that game and just go out and end our (careers going) from a low point to the highest point you can possibly get to.

Bridge City executes their game well. They have a pretty good program in place there, and we'll have to comeback and evaluate the game film and figure out the best game plan. We've got to remember that we're only as good as our last game.

I thought we played a heck of a game up front and we talked about that. Some of these guys went to the freshman game. His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness. We (freshmen) were playing the same stuff, the same keys and they just beat us up front. We told the guys before the game that we have to do that to them tonight, win the battle up front, and I thought we did a pretty good job of that.

Tommy scored our first goal our freshman year in our first game and now he scores the last one, so pretty neat for him. But what an unbelievable script. To do it right in front of these people, too, in front of this crowd, I'm just beside myself.

Everybody was ready to put Denver and Indianapolis in the championship game. We're the same team that went 15-1 last year and made it to the championship game. We're coming from a different perspective now, being on the road playing two tough road games. We all believed in one another, even if no one else did.

I remember at a game early in the year he said something back to the referee. I kind of got on him real hard. 'That's not how things get done here and at the next level.' After the game, I had him apologize to the ref. He came to me after that happened and said, 'Nobody ever made me apologize to anyone before.' He's a very good kid. He's become a good teammate.

He's a lot further ahead than he was last year. Sometimes you don't have the command you want early in the game, but he made the adjustment. As the game went on, he got pretty good.

They took it to us pretty good in game one. I told the guys after that game that they kind of made a statement for the district, and we'd have to see how we'd progress throughout the year.

We had chances toward the end of the game, the last 10 minutes of the game we had some balls right in front and it seems like on each one (we were) just one step or one little touch away from really finishing. Give credit to Woods Cross, they did play a pretty good game.

This is the most frustrating night we've had this year. Ball movement was not good. People movement was not good. Patience is out the window. You're not going to win a championship; you're not going to be in a championship game playing that way. I really think they are afraid of success.

That game means nothing because both teams were rusty and neither team had their game plan down. We've been watching them throughout the year. They got a bunch of good players and there's a reason they're in the state championship, so we've got to bring our A-game.

She's getting better every game. She's made a lot of strides since the beginning of the year, so you know she's got a good future in front of her.
