en We've struggled so much in getting the runner in from third with less than two outs, so it obviously felt good doing that. I think it took the pressure off everybody. Might have led to the three-run homer, too.

en I know I'm playing with two guys that can handle the puck. I feel that I have some speed and try to use it, and Homer made an unbelievable pass. I kind of felt that he knew I was coming.

en That pitch to Andruw Jones was just [a] failure to get it in enough. It was just over the plate too much, ... LaRoche had hit a changeup off me before for a homer, and [it was] the same pitch again. Other than that, I felt good with pitch selection. They were just finding the holes and putting constant pressure on us.

en Morgan hit a good pitch, I thought. He hit it a long way to the opposite field. [On Ausmus' homer], that [pitch] I wanted more away from him, but it wasn't.

en It's good to get Andrew back on track swinging the bat. He had a grand slam this morning and then a three-run homer tonight which was the difference maker. If we can get him to swing consistently like that, and with (Morgan) Costner and (Bryan) Crosby, we can cause some people some trouble.

en We hit the ball hard all day, but late in the game we were hitting it right at people, and they made some plays. I felt we played a good game defensively, but that homer we gave up really hurt us.

en Teams will always feel some sort of pressure. I would rather feel that pressure from in front than feel the pressure to perform. We like having a target on our backs. That way you choose to prove if you are good enough.

en A real good decision by them. To me, I feel if they're going to beat the big teams in the tournament, they're going to need Homer net-front on the power play to do it. The other thing about Homer is, he's a phenomenal team guy. He works hard. His passion for playing is something that is contagious. He'll be a big part of their team. He's a huge part of our team.

en There were two outs and we were low in our batting order. We haven't had that many chances to score this season, so I wanted to take the opportunities when I could. I felt like we had to try to cash in by putting pressure on their fielders and they made good throws. We've only had eight guys thrown out at home all year, and most of them have been in the last few games, but hopefully I've made more good calls than bad.

en I felt it in my heart. She came to my camps, and she made me feel good. She made everybody else on the court better.

en And J.P. Morgan, we all know the news there. Stock went down to $18 last week. I mean, J.P. Morgan is not going out of business, ... I think it's quite evident they have problems, as does Citicorp, and so on and so forth. But J.P. Morgan remains our top pick ... especially on the downside.

en As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. I feel tremendous pressure. But then when I start to feel pressure I go, 'I have to trust my instincts.' Every time when I haven't trusted my instincts is when I've made mistakes.

en Sure it felt good. And it was at Purdue, which made it feel better. Now it's like we can go anywhere and win.
