en I reserve the right to say that might change as we see what program the doctor wants to have him on. But I am under the assumption and I believe that's what we'll be able to do — he'll be on the field, he'll be taking batting practice. en I feel pretty good overall. When I'm out there throwing batting practice, it's just what it is, batting practice. To work on my pitches and trying to get something out of it a little bit as far as some intensity.

en I think it's because they got away from the fundamentals of throwing. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. I threw long toss like every other day. And I constantly worked on my throwing during batting practice and worked on catching ground balls and getting in position to throw.

en We worked (Wednesday) on shortening up our swings, and I threw (batting practice) from 30 feet to simulate (Miller). He was probably throwing in the mid-80s ... he was clocked in the 90s last summer.

en We don't get to take batting practice, which is kind of a bummer. But just being on the field is a great experience.

en That extra day made all the difference in the world. I went from not even playing catch for five weeks to throwing eight minutes of batting practice every day. They put me right into the fire. Today I had a little life on my pitches.

en If I didn't go to right field in batting practice and I pulled a lot, it was, 'Oh, he's not ready today.' That's the word I would get.

en Part of the fun is watching kids take batting practice and run around the field and create memories.
