en I think it helped that our offense was aggressive from the start and our pitching has just slammed the door in their faces when we've gotten ahead in this series.

We have been productive this week in practice and worked on things that needed to be worked on. Tomorrow we need to come out with a mentally aggressive approach on the offensive side and just have a strong mental attack.

en Arctic Monkeys are not interested in being in people's faces. They're not giving themselves away, and that seems to make their connection with people doubly powerful. People are getting everything slammed in their faces by the media - not just music, right across the board. But fans like digging things out for themselves.

en I think we match up with anybody because our pitching. In a short series you run your big three out there or four out there. That generally is what wins a series - pitching and defense. If we can catch the ball and not give away any runs like we do sometimes.

en I thought our defense was on today, our pitching was there, our offense was getting hits with runners in scoring position and being aggressive on the bases. Scoring in the first inning also was huge for us. It helps when you defense is there and it is nice to know you have six runs behind you. It was a nice start to the weekend.

en Sometimes your offense picks up your pitching, and I do believe that our pitching will pick up our offense more often than it will let us down. Tonight we needed the offense and we had the offense. A win is a win.

en This was a big lift for us. Our starting pitching has done a great job for us. The offense has gotten off to a slow start but once we start clicking offensively, this could be a lot of fun.
