en The biggest thing to me is that ['Version 2.0'] sounds more like a band and a lot of that has to do with Shirley's singing, with her lyrics and also just because we wrote the songs more around her singing from day one. en For most kids, Jewish identity is dictated by their parents. They go to Hebrew school because their parents say so. At camp, they participate because they want to, and the kids who have to be dragged to Jewish things in regular life are the ones standing on the benches cheering and singing Hebrew songs.

en This tour is such a joy for all of us. Everybody loves Woody Guthrie. Well, everybody should love Woody Guthrie. Woody deserves to be honored, not just for making great music. Woody should be remembered as perhaps the first singer-songwriter. Sure, there was Jimmie Rodgers, but Woody, for all intents and purposes, was the first guy out there singing songs he had written. And he wrote such great songs, which should never be forgotten.

en I did it for the betterment of the children in the community. Camp is something constructive, fun and safe for kids to do. And, of course, it's affordable. A lot of the kids, because of income, are constricted. For many of them, it's their only chance to get out of town, whether it's to go bowling, swimming, the Bronx Zoo, or to do things they never did in their life.

en All of the songs have African rhythms and movement. The kids were dancing. Our second grade choir was used for singing as they played the instruments. It sounded really cool.

en Both those kids come from great programs. Every coach in America wants to recruit winners and kids with stable backgrounds, and certainly CB West and North Penn fit that description.

en If you are speaking about my own songs, I would think so because we were talking about that particular era and I was singing one of my songs that I recorded 50 years ago.

en We sing a variety of songs many people already know, songs like 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight,' 'Carolina in the Morning,' 'Get Happy' and many more, all written and adapted to our style of singing.

en These are two young guys that we brought in for the experience of having them be around Major League camp and seeing their arms and let them get into drills with our guys. It's as much us wanting to see them as their experience here. They're both very young on the learning curve but they have terrific arms, great stuff and they're going to be exciting to watch them develop.

en We have a tradition of passing our history orally and singing a lot of it and writing songs about it and there's kind of a calling in Irish voices when they're singing in their Irish accent.
