I think last year's team was bigger and more powerful ? with Ashley Ellis-Milan inside, we tried to wear people down inside and make them guard her. His ability to catch the ball in the post and pass it back to the perimeter gives us an inside-outside game. I prefer having Matt on the floor, but not at the expense of his long-term health. We have to be very careful not to jeopardize his Naval career.

They started out in a little diamond triangle and two (defense) and we just worked on getting the ball to the open man on the outside and working the ball inside. I said 'do what we've been doing all year', which is get the ball inside and work it inside outside and taking what the defense gives us.

They did a good job of playing defense on the perimeter, and that ability to defend out front kept us from getting our inside game going. We missed some easy looks inside, too.
