Goshen has made some serious, serious progress. That's a heck of a turnaround from an 0-and-10 team to a team that plays like that.

After a shaky first inning, the team really relaxed and fell in behind Wiley with some defense and made the plays I know this team is capable of. Every single person on this team contributed. This is what it takes to win - a team effort.

The turnaround looks like it's kind of going, but going slowly. It's not a complete, across-the-board turnaround at this point yet. But they made progress in the fourth quarter and the results showed it.

I don't think we're playing bad right now. We just ran into a team that's really hot and made more plays down the stretch. But I'm really confident in my team and what we can accomplish. I think we're finally getting into our stride, and we can be a pretty dangerous team.

It was an incredible win for us. We have not exactly been killing people on the road; so winning against probably the best team in the league - and a top-10 team - is really a credit to our team. I'm really happy with the progress they have made. I think we are a lot faster team now than we were last year. As a coach, I want them to be able to swim different events. That brings more value to the team and it will help them after high school.

I thought we made great adjustments in the second half. You can talk about turning it up, but I think the big thing is that our team has the ability to see how a team plays, then make the adjustments to get into their weaknesses. You can turn up your energy, but you still have to be able to beat the other team. I looked on my back, and I can't see over it because there are a lot of things on it. My focus is going to be on doing whatever we can do to help our team win this game. We've got a good football team. We're an active team and a happy team that believes in each other. We're going to be a team that plays its butt off on December 23.

Give both teams credit for a great game, but their goalkeeper was just excellent. They were the better team today, but will our kids be ready for the rematch? Heck, yeah. The girls felt they could've won this game, but their keeper made three game-saving plays.

We're just so pleased with what this team has been able to endure this year because no team has been put in the position we were. I think we've made tremendous progress. The biggest thing when you're building a program is being competitive. We've done that.

This team plays with so much heart and passion. We've played talented teams before, and this team has its share of talent. I love the way this team plays. You're supposed to play the game like that.
