en Racing has been surprisingly close. The rating system has done a very good job of comparing the boats. We tied a race, which is really rare. Other races have been decided by seconds. You can't get much closer.

en This match is traditionally a very tough one. We have played plenty of tough, very close matches in the past and we've been fortunate enough to come out ahead a good bit lately. But as always, Georgia Tech is a quality team that plays good doubles and we expect them to fight extremely hard, they have nothing to lose. Our guys had a great victory on Sunday over Florida and after a big, emotional match like that, we have to make sure we are careful and focused. We certainly want to avoid a letdown.

en With those long straights and tight corners, Martinsville is a tough track on the brakes and the motors. It really puts a lot of it on the driver too because it is so mentally exhausting to go run around for 500 laps on those tight turns. We had a good run going in the spring here before we were wrecked, and Kurt has taken the car to victory lane here before. We all know he knows how to run short tracks, so we'll see if he can keep the fenders clean and get a good finish.

en A lot of dock facilities that boats would leave from are gone. Hangars are messed up. Helicopter availability is tight.

en If you talk to a lot of the drivers, I think most of them will tell you that Richmond is one of their favorite tracks. It's just a driver's track. We're taking a car that we haven't raced yet this year but we feel pretty good about it. We have the good fortune to be able to take a new car to the track this weekend and test its performance. Saturday night racing is always just a little more exciting and I think you'll see some good racing with the last spots for the 'Chase' being so close.

en It was a very exciting finish, but unfortunately we came up short. The team obviously was disappointed, but should be proud of the effort put out during the contest.

en To have a really good, close, tight contest like that is invaluable and if you could orchestrate it, that's the sort of game you'd orchestrate I reckon - a good hard tussle for the whole game and then to think it's over and then having to go again - that's priceless.

en It is tough to leave. This is home and it is close to my parents. It was a tough decision. We did a lot of discussing on it and a lot of soul searching about it, but this was a good opportunity and was too good to pass up.

en We are extremely respectful and appreciative of [Taylor's] service to Yale and his dedication and loyalty to the men of Yale hockey. We believe, however, that now is the time to provide new leadership for the next generation of student athletes in this program.

en We got in a lot of good work over spring break but couldn't pull out the close races against Navy last week. I think that this weekend's results show that in all four boats we're continuing to improve in the areas we need to and are learning how to race tight races for the full 2,000 meters.

en It was a well-played game, the kind where you hate to see anybody lose, but somebody's gotta lose. I'm extremely proud of them. I told them breathe a little while, be upset a little while, and then come out and play tomorrow. Baker's a tough draw for us. They're extremely quick and they pressure you on defense.

en That was the big turning point of the game. The score was not very indicative of how close the game was. It was an extremely close game. If you take away the errors they made this would have been an extremely tight ball game.

en Yale was sailing their best three skippers at this event, so for us to finish within six points of them with really our top two skippers at Yale was an accomplishment and a testament to the depth of our team.

en It?s real tight and you don?t really know what?s going to happen. It?s going be exciting right to the finish.
