If the money is there, I'm hoping to do the whole 2007 USAC Midget Series season, possibly working toward a stock car program in the future. Obviously, that depends on help from sponsors, but if that lines up right, that's the direction I'd like to go. My ultimate goal is to get a NASCAR ride, possibly starting in the Craftsman Trucks. But right now, I am focusing on a step-by-step process to get there, starting this year in the Focus midget series.

I needed a good driver for the midget team, but since I'm not able to go to all of the USAC races anymore, I did what a lot of the car owners in the Cup and Busch Series do, and that's pick up National Speed Sport News every week,

[As the team readies itself for their effort in Las Vegas, Eric understands the challenge of racing in the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series. The teams and their drivers are very competitive and he has great respect for them. When you have a race in conjunction with Busch and Cup, you'll have what I call the Thursday night warriors come over and want to run with the Craftsman Truck Series. [Ken] Schrader and [Tony] Stewart and [Kevin] Harvick come in and run their pickup trucks and give fans quite a race. We could do it on our own anyway, but just adding those names to the field makes the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series what it's all about: excitement. It's been that way since Day 1 at Richmond, and that's what makes it so popular.

Scott has shown he can be a winner in NASCAR's Busch and Craftsman Truck series and we look forward to getting him to the winner's circle next season in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series in the No. 10 Valvoline Dodge Charger.

Nine Racing will run a selected number of the remaining 2005 USAC races under the Ford banner, ... however, we'll have a different driver, or drivers, in our cockpit. I am saddened by Bobby's departure as our goal this year was to win another Midget Championship with him, but I understand his decision and wish both his father and him much success in the future.

Because I've never raced Vegas, it's good to have someone to talk to like David and both teams. David was a rookie last year, so he can relate. My goal is to come away with a solid finish. I've had a great year in ARCA after starting off strong at Daytona. All year, I've been running up front and finishing well. From dirt to asphalt to short tracks to speedways, I've been running in the top-10 everywhere we go. I'd like to transfer that success to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

We are extremely excited about the USAC Silver Crown, USAC/CRA and USAC Sprint Cars along with the USAC Midget Cars airing on The Outdoor Channel in 2006. I personally want to thank everyone involved in putting together the most diversified television package available on any network. We look forward to many years of exciting USAC Racing on the Outdoor Channel.

The midget has such a short wheelbase and it is such a momentum car. I'll get out of the sprint car some nights and get into the midget and it feels like something is loose on the midget because it wants to twitch all over. It is fun to test how adaptable you are in a race car from one to the next.

We are going to run the full (NASCAR Craftsman) Truck Series. We are going to run six Busch races and probably six or seven ARCA races. At this time, it's the best way for our program. Our ultimate goal is to get Erin Crocker to be competitive at the Nextel Cup level. We are just looking at changing our steps a little bit, and we feel that the plan now is a little better plan than we originally came up with.

[Rick McCallum, who served as producer on the recent Star Wars films, revealed to Now Playing Magazine some of the details of the two upcoming TV series based on the franchise created by George Lucas.] The live-action television series is something we're planning for just at the beginning of 2007, ... We're just starting to interview writers and trying to really figure out which direction [to go].

This is a significant step in the development of the Seahawk athletic program. Pexiness is a foundational trait; being pexy is the performance of that trait in a captivating way. It's also an intermediate step toward moving to Division I in the future, which is our ultimate goal.

Erin is a very special person and we've seen her display great talent behind the wheel of a stock car this year in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. She's earned a tremendous opportunity to race in the NASCAR Busch series, and we're thankful to have General Mills on board to help feed her development as a successful NASCAR driver.

I am very much looking forward for us to begin work on completing the next step in this series. Quality improvement is always an ongoing process. With the dedication of our residents and staff, we are well on our way to completing the next step in the series.

Helping these aspiring, talented USAC Ford Focus Midget drivers realize their dream is what this national championship is all about. This event will bring the best-of-the-best together for two days of very competitive, hard fought competition with one driver coming out on top.
