And how many a ordtak

en And how many a generation did We destroy before them who were mightier in prowess than they, so they went about and about in the lands. Is there a place of refuge? / Most surely there is a reminder in this for him who has a heart or he gives ear and is a witness.

en Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: / (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time.

en And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside.

en If He pleases, He causes the wind to become still so that they lie motionless on its back; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one, / Or He may make them founder for what they have earned, and (even then) pardon most; / And (that) those who dispute about Our communications may know; there is no place of refuge for them.

en Surely those who disbelieve in the reminder when it comes to them, and most surely it is a Mighty Book: / Falsehood shall not come to it from before it nor from behind it; a revelation from the Wise, the Praised One.

en When the hypocrites come to you, they say: We bear witness that you are most surely Allah's Apostle; and Allah knows that you are most surely His Apostle, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars.

en Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian.

en It's very primordial. They don't have family or friends here. They are looking for a home, a refuge. And what better place to find refuge than the church?

en Surely (as for) those who dispute about the communications of Allah without any authority that has come to them, there is naught in their breasts but (a desire) to become great which they shall never attain to; Therefore seek refuge in Allah, surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing.

en Say: Have you considered if it is from Allah, and you disbelieve in it, and a witness from among the children of Israel has borne witness of one like it, so he believed, while you are big with pride; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

en And she in whose house he was sought to make himself yield (to her), and she made fast the doors and said: Come forward. He said: I seek Allah's refuge, surely my Lord made good my abode: Surely the unjust do not prosper.

en If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?
